PIRAL RANCH

A Center for Change & Empowerment

A place where people rediscover their value, develop their gifts, and become contributors to a more compassionate world.

The Opportunity

We are living through a period of extraordinary change. Many people are experiencing isolation, fractured relationships, financial uncertainty, addiction, loss of purpose, and disconnection from community.

Traditional systems frequently address these challenges separately. Yet beneath many of them is a common human need: to experience belonging, reclaim personal responsibility, and discover that our lives have value.

Spiral Ranch is envisioned as a living demonstration of a different approach.

Rather than focusing exclusively on what is wrong with people, we seek to help individuals recognize their inherent worth, develop their abilities, heal destructive patterns, and become active contributors to the well-being of others.

Our guiding principles are:

Evolutionary Compassion • Communal Alchemy • Conscious Enterprise

Our educational pillars are:

Change • Forgiveness • Discernment • Empowerment

A Proven Foundation

Spiral Ranch grows from more than two decades of writing, teaching, community building, and practical experimentation.

Its predecessor, the River House Mystery School in Boulder, Colorado, operated for approximately eight years as a center for gatherings, classes, healing, music, hospitality, and generosity.

Founder E. Dan Smith III, known professionally as MysterE, has written eleven books, created the 93-card New Earth Tarot, and developed teachings that help people move beyond cycles of blame, fear, and separation.

His online community includes approximately 52,000 Instagram followers.

In 2026, MysterE and his wife completed a 6,000-mile Forgiveness Tour, recording approximately twenty interviews and gathering material for a documentary exploring forgiveness as a force for personal and social transformation.

These experiences have established the educational and philosophical foundation for Spiral Ranch.

The next step is to develop the infrastructure, programs, and organizational capacity needed to make that work sustainable and accessible.

Phase One: Establish the Living Center

The immediate opportunity is centered on two neighboring properties along South Boulder Creek in Boulder County, Colorado.

Together, these properties offer the possibility of establishing a small, working community center with space for education, creative collaboration, personal transformation, and connection with nature.

Phase One priorities include:

  • Establishing the initial facility and its operating systems.

  • Launching regular in-person classes, gatherings, and transformational programs.

  • Completing and preparing the Forgiveness Tour documentary for public presentation.

  • Developing online educational offerings that extend the work beyond Colorado.

  • Building organizational systems for accounting, community participation, testimonials, outreach, and responsible growth.

  • Creating a replicable model of community based on generosity, contribution, personal responsibility, and mutual respect.

The initial center is intended to begin modestly, demonstrate its value, and grow through genuine community participation.

The Labyrinth for Humanity

The longer-term vision includes the development of the Labyrinth for Humanity, an ambitious contemplative art and educational environment.

Conceived as seven labyrinths in one, the design brings together elemental journeys, spiritual reflection, and an elevated infinity pathway within a larger unified experience.

The labyrinth represents a central principle of our teaching: moving beyond the maze of competing judgments and conflicts toward a more conscious experience of connection.

Visitors would be invited to explore forgiveness, personal transformation, and humanity’s shared journey through a physical landscape of art, nature, and contemplation.

The labyrinth is envisioned as a future landmark and gathering place for education, reflection, and collective healing.

Its development would require separate planning, property arrangements, design, permitting, and capital funding.

The Compassionate Economy

Spiral Ranch will also serve as a demonstration of the Compassionate Economy—a philosophy in which success is measured through giving and contribution.

Its underlying principle is simple:

A healthy community helps people become contributors, not merely recipients.

Generosity is paired with discernment. Freedom is paired with responsibility. Compassion includes both the giver and the receiver.

The objective is not dependence on a single benefactor, teacher, or institution. It is to cultivate a network of capable people who help one another thrive.

Founding Campaign: $125,000

We are seeking $125,000 in founding support to establish Phase One, strengthen the nonprofit’s operating capacity, and move the documentary and educational work forward.

The campaign supports initial facility needs, essential equipment and technology, documentary development, program administration, community outreach, and working capital.

A portion of the budget—$44,000—is designated for approximately 25 hours per week of administrative, hosting, planning, and event coordination over the initial operating period.

The documentary’s broader funding objective is $35,000, which may be supported through the founding campaign and additional dedicated contributions.

The first 90 days will emphasize:

  1. Advancing the Forgiveness Tour documentary toward completion.

  2. Establishing regular local classes and gatherings.

  3. Building reliable operational and financial systems.

  4. Expanding community visibility and participation.

  5. Developing a sustainable plan for the next stage.

The $125,000 campaign is a founding-stage objective, not the total capital required to acquire and develop the larger ranch and labyrinth vision.

An Invitation to Participate

We are seeking founding partners who recognize that helping people rediscover purpose, responsibility, and connection can create benefits extending far beyond any single individual.

Participation may include philanthropic support, strategic guidance, introductions, organizational collaboration, program sponsorship, or future capital-development partnerships.

Our intention is to build with people who share the mission, respect the autonomy of the organization, and believe in transparent, accountable stewardship.

Spiral Ranch is more than a place. It is an invitation to demonstrate what becomes possible when compassion, creativity, responsibility, and generosity work together.

Three words describe our direction: Forgive. Empower. Contribute.
