In May 2022, A pair of startling revelations.

One my father was about to have a life altering brain surgery and two, I was no longer welcome in my beloved River House - my home of 10 years. Little did I know what God had in store.

Following are the some of photographs of the generous fabulous people I have met along my journey of faith, homelessness and magic for the past 2 1/2 years.

After two months in Nashville on a healing journey with my father, (he is alive and doing well now) I set out with nothing but my open heart.

First was three months in Boulder fruitlessly trying to resurrect the River House and writing my 9th book.

Then in a gifted automobile and selling my books along the way, I toured the southeastern United States visiting old and new friends through the end of 2022.

On a deep intuitive knowing, I bought a one way ticket to Sayulita, Mexico in January 2023, where I met my now wife Keeley Brand on the fifth day. It was instant. We became close friends spending afternoons on the beach body surfing.

In April, Keeley moved to Ajijic, Mexico to live in a spiritual center, and I spent a long and hot spring / summer at the beach working with homeless and making friends while writing book 10.

In October ‘23, Keeley returned to Sayulita to spend two weeks with her family (visiting from the UK) and we became romantic - and then in November I moved to Ajijic. Here we spent time in two spiritual centers.

On April Fools Day ‘24, we engaged, adopted “Luna” and returned to Sayulita for two weeks (in an old car we bought in Guadalajara) to prepare for her first trip to the United States.

Both of us had been nomadic for a few years and deeply wanted two things. One to be in service to our hearts on a spiritual mission and two, to have an established home.

On the road trip, we have been extraordinary blessed with generosity, adventure and friendship. We visited 10 states and we got married in Taos NM. Thank you! Our gratitude is infinite.

There were many times where the path ahead would vanish and we were challenged emotionally and financially. In each of these times, learning the spiritual lesson would catapult us into the next phase of the journey.

For me, the most heartbreaking part was visiting the River House to witness the dissolution of 10 years of community building. And yet, it was essential to open the path ahead.

After six months on the road and 10,000 miles, we have rented a small home in Sedona AZ and are enrolled in the Sedona Metaphysical University to gain our PhDs in ministerial counseling and family lineage healing. We have also found a spiritual home in the Global Center for Christ Consciousness and a welcoming supportive community here.

We are excited to begin this next chapter of re-establishing ourselves professionally while holding the longer term vision of our own spiritual center.

In life, we toss around words like “forgiveness, compassion and love” - not truly knowing the depths of them. Keeley and I are discovering and expressing what lies beneath the surface of our humanness to offer essential meaning and healing to our rapidly changing world.

This is the value we are discovering together and wish to share with as many as possible.

Currently we are stretched to the limit by our travels, grateful to have a place to call home, and our faith is strong.

Asking for financial help is the next step for us. We move in October 15, and have a house to furnish, a car to repair and legal documents to submit for Keeley’s US visa. Call it a wedding gift if you like, or you can simply contract us to assist in your spiritual growth.
